As a Christian I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I am a sinner and I am in need of God’s forgiveness. In order to grant my forgiveness I believe that Jesus took my punishment and died on a cross. I believe he was raised to life and ascended to heaven. Having willingly fulfilled the requirement for my punishment I am now free to live a life of my choosing. I believe that the Christian Scriptures are not only trustworthy, but they are the best source of truth to know God. The scriptures teach me to use my new life to serve and honour the one who laid down his life for my freedom. I don’t always get it right, and so I rely each and every day on God’s grace and mercy.
As a husband of one beautiful wife, I am eternally grateful for God’s mercy in my life. I am often so undeserving, yet God’s mercy is an ever present reality in our home. Our marriage is a reflection of Christ’s relationship with his bride, the church. We are passionate about trying to be the most accurate image-bearers possible.
As an Australian soldier I have promised to serve and protect my country. I enlisted into the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps. I was trained as a medic and served in Afghanistan.
As a gamer I am a professional procrastinator. I sink too many hours into computer games, watching TV and playing sport. I love FPS games and I watch and play tennis, cricket and Australian Rules Football when I get the chance. Go the Bombers. While I enjoy all of these things, the one recreation that satisfies me the most is snowboarding.
